Have you ever looked at a website and cringed at how unfocused it seemed to be? Or seen a print flyer with seven different fonts from front to back? For any business, big or small, it’s important to establish who you are as a brand. Having an unfocused website or a cascade of information and design elements can make things appear unorganized or chaotic. Branding is an important first step in letting clients know who you are and establishing a clear identity for your audience.

It’s not just a logo. Anyone can take a sketch and add it to their website and business cards. Branding is intentional and takes time, research, and consideration of the mission statement of why a business does what it does.
Over the next couple weeks, I’m going to be working alongside a friend of mine who is a local business owner to help her establish a brand identity. I’m excited to help her as we answer important questions about her business and establish a clear picture for her current and future customers!
